Zabra Wright age 89, of Florala passed away Monday October 19, 2020. She was born January 14, 1931 in Covington County to Harvey Jackson and Lonie Lawrence Jackson. Zabra worked at Franklin Ferguson in Florala for over 45 years until ill health forced her retirement. She enjoyed fishing and quilting (the old fashion way by hand). She was a life time and oldest member of Pine Level Baptist Church. Her steadfast reliance on God's strength and compassion allowed her to persevere through very trying times. Zabra was an incredible wife, mother, and teacher for her entire family. She will be dearly missed by all those she touched. She was preceded in death by husband, Joe Wright; son, Charles E Wright Sr; father, Harvey Jackson; mother, Lonie Lawrence Jackson; sisters, Louie Pippin, Julie Brooks, Vador Hobbs, Zadie Robbins, Adie Johnson; brother, Leamon (Buddy) Jackson.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Bush and husband Chuck, sister, Alie Hendrickson, sister-in-law, Betty Jackson, grandchildren, Joseph Wright and wife Sandy, Charles E Wright Jr, Paul Michael Bush, Ashleigh Wright, Sean, Beau, Billy and Bryan Thompson, 2 great grand daughters. She loved being their "Granny". She is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Zabra Wright will be 11AM Saturday October 24, 2020 at Evans Funeral Home with Dewey Elmore officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
