Winfred "Wint" Davis, age 84, of Opp, Al, passed away on May 21, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1940, in Covington County, Al to A.W. Davis and Irene Davis of Opp, Al.

Wint was a pastor for 16 years, serving several different churches. He also worked at the Opp and Micolas Cotton Mill in Opp, Al. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, A.W. Davis; his mother, Irene Davis; and his brothers, Willis Davis and Clarence Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alta Davis; his daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Bobby Fuller of Enterprise, Al; his son and daughter-in-law, JW and Allie Davis of Samson, AL; and his sister, Wilma (Arlin) Horton of Pensacola, Fl. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jessica Fuller of Enterprise, AL; Andrew (Jess) Fuller of Tuscaloosa, AL; John Davis of Austin, TX; and Ryan (Krysta) Davis of Macon, GA. His great-grandchildren are Braylon, Adalee, Kysen, Katie, and Riley.

Funeral Services for Wint Davis will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at West County Line Baptist Church in Opp, AL. Derwood Cleland and James Kilpatrick will lead the service. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Alberton Cemetery.
