Willie C
Bradberry
Jan 18, 1933 — Dec 21, 2024
Willie C. Bradberry, affectionately known as "Tex," was born on January 18, 1933, to the late Lula Mae and Willie C. Bradberry. His journey through life came to a peaceful close on December 21, 2024, at Florala Health and Rehab, surrounded by the love of his family.
Willie C. was a man who valued hard work and lived life on his own terms. With his hands toughened from years of working with lumber and pulpwood, he had a deep love for the outdoors. Fishing was one of his favorite pastimes, and he was rarely found inside when the sun was shining. A shade tree or a spot on the porch was his sanctuary, where he could relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
Wille C. was known for his bold spirit and love of adventure. In his younger days, he was infamous for taking friends and family on thrilling rides along winding back roads—his version of racing that never required a track. Beneath his bold personality he leaves behind countless stories that will forever bring smiles and laughter. Jokingly, he is perhaps best remembered for the legacy he left behind, thanks to his remarkable gift for procreation. Above all, the family of Willie C. Bradberry, would like for you to remember him for the most important decision he could have ever made when it counted and that was choosing to follow Jesus Christ.
Willie C. was preceded in death by his sons: Willie C. Bradberry Jr., Willie Vickers, Wonderful Toles, Donnell and Brian Bradberry; his daughter, Marilyn Bradberry; his brothers, Jonas, Tom, Robert, and JD Bradberry; and his sisters, Moven Wooden and Mable Taylor.
His family will treasure the memories, the lessons, and the humor he imparted throughout his life.
Services for Willie C Bradberry Sr will be 12PM Saturday January 18, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home.
