William Huckabaa, a man known for his giving heart, bright smile and unmatched kindness, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the age of 46.

A mechanic by trade and a helper by nature William spent his life turning wrenches and turning days around for everyone who knew him. Whether fixing an engine or lifting someone's spirits, he gave freely of his time and talents. You never had to ask for - help if he saw need, he stepped in.

He loved riding the open roads with friends sharing thoughts and fond memories. A true lover of fast cars and the freedom they brought. His passion for the road was only outshined by his devotion to the people in his life.

Family was everything to him. He was a steady, loving presence - always there, always smiling, always proud of those he loved most. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, compassion and joy.

William touched countless lives with his generosity and good humor. His absence will be felt deeply, but his impact will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him. He was preceded in death by father, Martin Huckabaa.

He is survived by his wife, Kristy Nelson Huckabaa, mother, Cynithia Carver, sons, Eric Huckabaa and Nathan Johnson, daughters Mary Lena Smith, Brooke Huckabaa and Shannon Johnson, brothers Dennis Huckabaa (Jennifer), Derk Huckabaa (Marrisa), sisters, Marsha Douglas (Robert) and Brenda Capers (Chris), grandchildren Aiden Smith, Elijah Burgans, Chance Burgans, Thomas Turner III and Oliver Martin.

A celebration of his life will be announced by Evans Funeral Home.
