Verdie Pearl Croft's Obituary
Verdie Croft, age 96, passed away on August 23, 2021 at the Terrace at Grove Park in Dothan, Alabama.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Nancy Elizabeth Harrison. Verdie was the wife of the late U. L. Croft and the mother of the late Pat Baxley. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She graduated from Holmes County High School in Bonifay, Florida. She worked for L & N Railroad during WW II and afterward at her family business. Later, she worked for Sears for 30 years before retirement. Verdie was a kind, generous lady who loved traveling, church activities, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be private due to Covid concerns. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harvest Church in Dothan.
