Vassie Harrison of Paxton passed away September 30, 2022. She was born November 11, 1932 the daughter of Walter Collinsworth and Rebecca Martin Collinsworth. Vassie enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her 7-layer chocolate cake. Vassie was a lifelong member of the Paxton Assembly of God Church. Her greatest legacy, however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family.  Known to them as Aunt Vassie, Moma and Granny she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Harrison; son, Dennis Harrison; brother Frank Collinsworth; sisters, Melba Hart, Ruby McKinney and Dorris Cotton.

She is survived by son, Doyle Harrison and wife Melissa, daughter, Debra Robertson, daughter-in-law, Loretta Harrison, grandchildren, Dusty Robertson and wife Jessica, Donovan Robertson and wife Sara and Joyce Mitchell and husband Michael. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday October 6, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home. With Ronnie Sexton officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Paxton Cemetery.
