Tony Hughes age 55, of Florala passed away April 28, 2022. He was born February 6, 1967 in Huston, TX the son of Holland Hughes and Annie Martin Hughes. Tony enjoyed WWE wrestling and playing his guitar. He was known for preferring hugs over handshakes. He didn't meet strangers only new best friends. He was an enemy to no one and a friend/brother to everyone. Tony will be dearly missed by his love ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Holland Hughes; mother, Annie Martin Hughes; brother, Raymond Hughes; sisters, Brenda Steele, Sarah Jackson, Karen Knight and Charlen Pickron.

He is survived by sisters, Janice Huckaba and husband Jimmy, Lillian Bryan, Genella Owens and husband Roy, Frances Lopez, Tammy Hughes and Mavis Ann Austin, brothers, Steve Hughes and wife Terri and Randell Hughes.

Funeral services for Tony Hughes will be 2PM Tuesday May 3, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Randy Holtz officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.
