Tammy Burlison, age 51 passed away January 24, 2022. She was born February 2, 1970, the daughter of Cecil Edwards and Jackie Bush Edwards. Tammy loved being around children especially her nieces and nephews. She was an avid Auburn fan and enjoyed sharing that love with family and friends. Often times in the afternoon you could find Gary and her 4 wheeling and riding the back roads of Covington County listening to country music. Tammy loved everything outdoors especially swing in Lake Jackson in Florala. Her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she bravely fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. Tammy was preceded in death by father, Cecil Edwards: mother, Jackie Bush Edwards; brother, Cecil Edwards Jr; sister, Wanda Hattaway.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Gary Burlison, brother, Chuck Edwards, sisters, Sandy Edwards and Kitty Garvan, aunts, Faye Thomas and Edna Nolan.

Funeral services for Tammy Burlison will be 2PM Friday January 28, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Chuck Edwards officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
