Socorro Galvan (Connie) age 89, passed away September 24, 2022. She was born June 27, 1933, the daughter of Antonio Galvan and Ramona Delarosa Galvan. Socorro enlisted in 1954 proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy until 1957. She then worked for the U.S. Post Office and retired from the VA after 35 years of service. Socorro enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Known to many as Mrs. Connie, mom, grandma, Avuela, and GG. She was preceded in death by father, Antonio Galvan; mother, Ramona Delarosa Galvan; granddaughter, Taylor McClellan Miller; brothers, Anthony Galvan, Gabriel Galvan and Henry Galvan; sister, Mary Leon.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca Ayala, Yazmin McClellan and Shamae Ayala, sister, Lila Scheffel, grandchildren Marina Vazquez, Xanthus Stephanos, Alyssa McClellan, Aubrey Ayala, Rachel Steele and Nicholas Steele, great grandchildren, Ethen Willis, Brie Boliek and Blue Ella Boliek.

Funeral services for Socorro Galvan will be 3PM Thursday October 6, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
