Shirley Ann Presley, age 84, of Laurel Hill passed away surround by her family and loved ones on January 17, 2023. Shirley was born January 30, 1938 in Lockhart the daughter of Glen Wilber Manning and Mary Louise Manning. She was a 1956 graduate of Florala High School. Shirley was married to Willard Presley for 65 years and had four children. Shirley worked in the textile industry all her life until finally retiring. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers and most importantly serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She played the piano and sung for over 50 years in her local church. Her grandchildren enjoyed listening to her practice at her home on Sundays between church services. Her greatest legacy was taking her children and grandchildren to church and teaching them about the Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Manning, mother, Louise Manning, brothers, Norman Manning and Richard Manning.

She is survived by husband, Willard Presley of Laurel Hill, sister, Deloris Duke of Ft Walton Beach, brother, Charles Manning and wife Rose of Dothan, son, Terrell Presley and husband Daniel Presley of Fort Worth, Texas, son, Brian Presley and wife Tracy of Florala, son, Scott Presley and fiancée Jane of Laurel Hill and daughter Sharon Miller and husband Darrell of Paxton, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Presley will be 2PM Friday January 20, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Ron Williamson and Johnny White officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Thursday. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
