Shirley Henson age 78, of Lockhart passed away Sunday May 1, 2022. She was born February 18, 1944 the daughter of Togie Creech and Lenner Phillips Creech. Shirley worked at Covington Industries for many years then worked at L3 in Crestview until she retired. She loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with her sisters. She enjoyed working in her yard and loved the Lockhart Community. She was preceded in death by father, Togie Creech; mother, Lenner Phillips Creech; brothers, KW, Glenn and Charlie Creech; sisters, Marie Creech, Juanita Norris, Barbara Creech and a great grandchild.

She is survived by sons, Brian Smith of Lockhart and David Smith of Crestview, daughter, Debbie Bass and husband Robert of Florala, sisters, Sara Brooks and Karen Carter both of Opp, brother, William Creech, sister-in-law, Linda Creech of Bartow, FL, grandchildren, Justin (Liz) Bass, Alex (Ashley) Smith, Kaylynn Smith, Brian Jr (Jessica) Smith, Andrew Smith, Megan (Colby) Hathcox, 12 great grandchildren, best friend, Peggy Alford. She is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Shirley Henson will be 2PM Thursday May 5, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Damascus Cemetery.
