Sara Miller Gautney age 93, of Lockhart passed away March 19, 2025. She was born December 28, 1931 in Coffee Springs the daughter of Oyer Miller and Mabel Boutwell Miller. Sara enjoyed taking care of her flowers around her home and growing a vegetable garden every spring. She was a member of the Lockhart Garden Club and lifelong member of the Lockhart Baptist Church. Sara greatest legacy was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Mom, Granny and Maw Maw she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husband, EB Gautney; sons, Larry and Gary Gautney; father, Oyer Miller; mother, Mabel Boutwell Miller; brothers, Levy, Louie, Burford, Edsel, Henry, Billy and Rex Miller.

She is survived by son, Mickey Gautney (Annie), daughters, Kathy Thompson, Tracy Presley (Brian) and Gina Wynn (Mark); brother, Harry Miller; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sara Gautney will be 3PM Sunday March 23, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home with John Bryan officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
