Ryleigh Kate
Watson
Sep 2, 2020 — Apr 5, 2026
Ryleigh Kate Watson, age five, of Opp, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Ryleigh was born on September 2, 2020, in Andalusia, Alabama, the beloved daughter of Brandon Watson and Jamie Willis. Though her time here was far too brief, Ryleigh filled her days with joy, laughter, and a light that touched everyone who knew her.
Riley was a Pre-K student at Fleeta Elementary School, where her bright spirit and sweet personality made her a joy to teachers and classmates alike. She loved singing and dancing, and music always seemed to follow her wherever she went. Ryleigh found happiness in the simple things; swimming on warm days, searching for rocks and seashells, and spending time playing with her brothers and cousins. She had a tender heart, a playful spirit, and the kind of smile that could light up any room.
She is survived by her loving parents, Brandon Watson and Jamie Willis; her paternal grandparents, Wayne and Margrett King; her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Kimberly Mock; her maternal great-grandfather, Melvin Sasser; her brothers, Maddox Grissett, Owen Grissett, Bryson Watson, Brantley Watson, and Braden Jerry; her aunts, Jessica Sasser, Shelby Willis, and Allie Watson; along with an abundance of extended family members, including numerous cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
Ryleigh's life, though only five years, was a precious gift. She reminded all who knew her of the beauty of innocence, the joy of laughter, and the importance of love shared freely and often.
Funeral services for Ryleigh Kate Watson will be held Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home with Brother Pete Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
