William Roy Pickron Sr  age 70, of Florala passed away Thursday night September 10, 2020. He was born April 16, 1950 in Florala to Cecil Pickron and Annie Bell Ward Pickron. Roy worked as a logger in the pulp wood industry. Roy lived life to the fullest whether it was cheering on the Crimson Tide, hunting or fishing, he love every second of it. He will be dearly missed by his love ones who celebrate the fact he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Cecil Pickron; mother Annie Bell Ward Pickron; sisters, Betty Eleanor Parker, Delores Bryan and Jeanette Turbyville.

He is survived by son, William Roy Pickron Jr, grandson, William Roy Pickron III. He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Roy Pickron will be 2PM Sunday September 13, 2020 at Evans Funeral Home with James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
