Ronald Gautney age 69, of Crestview passed away January 10, 2021. He was born October 8, 1951 in the Children's Home Community to Oscar Gautney and Ellen Jones Gautney. Ron was a 1969 graduate of Paxton High School. He worked for Perdue Farms and Tyson Farms for many years. In 1978 he married Frances McCurley and in 1982 they had a son, Christopher Ron Gautney. In 1985 he moved his family home where he found his passion as a antique dealer. His biggest legacy, however was the immeasurable mark he left on his family.  Known to them as Ron, Dad and PaPa he will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. Ron was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Crestview.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Frances McCurley Gautney, son, Christopher Ron Gautney and wife Candace, granddaughter, Rylee Gautney. He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ronald Gautney will be 2PM Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Mike Hammond officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
