Richard C. Frisbey, of Florala, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 82.

Richard was born on January 18, 1944, in Utah, to the late Rex Frisbey and Marie Vanderlinden Frisbey. He lived a life marked by dedication, craftsmanship, and a deep love for his family.

For over 30 years, Richard worked with Westinghouse, where he served as a manager and earned the respect and admiration of his coworkers through his strong work ethic and steady leadership.

Outside of his career, Richard found great joy in working with his hands. He had a special passion for refurbishing antique cars, taking pride in restoring them to their former beauty with patience and skill. That same attention to detail carried into his woodworking, where he crafted cherished pieces for his family, including several cedar chests that will remain lasting reminders of his love and craftsmanship.

Richard also loved the water. Whether water skiing or fishing, he found peace and enjoyment being outdoors.

Above all, Richard's family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Ann Frisbey; his parents, Rex Frisbey and Marie Vanderlinden Frisbey; his stepfather, A.D. Crowther; and his brother, Bob Frisbey.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Frisbey; his daughter, Jinni Frisbey (Meredith); and his granddaughter, Hayden Frisbey. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike Frisbey (Jan) and Gordon Frisbey (Wanda); his sister, Kathy Jones (Bruce); his sister-in-law, Laurie Frisbey, the mother of his daughter and granddaughter, Suzan Frisbey and a host of extended family members, including numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
