On Tuesday, June 21st, 2022, Paul Douglas Parker, loving son, brother, and uncle, passed away at the age of 68 in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

Paul was born on June 5th, 1954 in Florala, Alabama to Luther Parker and Betty Jones. He lived in Florala for thirty years before moving to Fairhope, Alabama, where he spent over thirty years, before spending his last year in Denham Springs, Louisiana. He spent his life loving the Lord and all the Lord's creations. Paul had a passion for Jesus, good country music, Alabama football, and all people. His contagious warmth will be missed by his family but oh what a gain for Heaven!

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Luther, and his mother, Betty, brothers, Tim and Wayne, and Grandparents. He is survived by his sister-Cherayl, his brother Freddie, his nephews Chad and Zachary Stephens, great nephews Elizabeth, Joseph, Grayson, Augustus, and Abigail-Anne.

Paul's kindness leads the family to share this verse in honor of his time on this earth: "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God". 1 John 4:7-8
