Paul Barnes passed away January 11, 2024. He was born March 29, 1947. Paul worked as a timber buyer most of his life. He had a love for life and love for getting things done. Paul was often found out in the fields working on his tractor and bulldozer to get pasture cleared and ready for the cows that he cared for. His family celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover C. Barnes and Claudia Lowery Barnes, brothers, Grady, Frank, and Glenn Barnes.

He is survived by son, Kenneth Barnes and wife Lori, grandchildren, Matthew, Ashtyn and Trentyn Barnes and Nichole Charlton. He is also survived by the mother of his son, Ann Barnes. and special friend, Rita Goodwin.

Funeral services for Paul Barnes will be 2PM Sunday January 14, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
