Oma Rabon Henderson age 80, of DeFuniak Springs passed away June 23, 2025. A woman of strength, spirit and deep love, she lived life with a purpose and joy in the things that brought her heart peace: fishing at sunrise, cheering on her favorite wrestler, tending to her garden and filling her kitchen with the comfort of home cooked meals. Her cooking was the kind that fed more than hunger it brought people together. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by husband, Hamilton Henderson; sons, Jack and John Henderson; daughter, Sherry Ann Henderson; father, K C Rabon; mother, Gaynell Roberts Rabon.

She is survived by daughter, Wanda Hershey (Danny), sons, James Wesley Henderson (Kathryn), Anthony Steven Henderson (Carolyn) and Henry Henderson (Michele), numerous grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Oma Rabon Henderson will be 2:30PM Sunday June 29, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home with Danny Hershey officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
