Nina Ferretti age 80, of Florala passed away June 29, 2025. Nina was known for her warm heart, gentle sprit and unwavering dedication as a caregiver. Whether tending to the needs of others or offering a listening ear to a friend, she had a gift for making people feel safe and loved. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-especially traveling to new places, treasure hunting through thrift stores and surrounding herself with the beauty of fresh flowers. Her home was always filled with color and warmth, much like her personality. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her generous soul, her love of adventure and the gentle way she cared for others. She was preceded in death by husband, John Ferretti; father, William Jones; mother, Mattie Thames Jones; sisters, Janie Stokes and Betty Jones; brother, Donnie Jones.

She is survived by son, Fred Phelps (Sandra), daughters, Nina Phelps, Sallie Younger (Brent) and Sandra Mason, sister, Rita Cawley (Wayne), sister-in-law, Linda Jones, brother-in-law, Dick Stokes, best friend, Bobbie Miller, numerous grand and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life service for Nina Ferretti will be 7PM Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Lake Jackson.
