Millard Parmer age 88 of Laurel Hill passed away May 15, 2025. He was born April 18, 1937 in the Children's Home Community the son of James Parmer and Kate Carnley Parmer. Millard was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. Often times you could find him in the fields working on his tractor preparing pastures for the cows he had. He was preceded in death by wife Ernestine Parmer; father, James Parmer; mother, Katie Carnley Parmer; son, Danny Parmer.

He is survived by sons, Mike Parmer, Greg Parmer and David Parmer (Hope), daughter-in-law, Nancy Parmer, brothers, Marvin, Edward and Huey Parmer, sisters, Melvalene Cawthon, Betty Sue Lock and Junita Posey.

Services for Millard Parmer will be 2:30 PM Wednesday May 21, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home with Johnny White officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
