Michele Martin age 55 of Florala Alabama passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday May 29, 2022 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 29, 1966 in Decatur Alabama to Jack Mock and Glynis Smith.
Michele was blessed with three beautiful children whom she loved more than life itself. She devoted her life to her children and considered them the best part of her and of life. She fought so hard just to be with them and her grandchildren a little longer. Michele never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure to know her. Truly loved in her community and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Lived life to the fullest loving the simple things in life. You could find her sitting on her porch enjoying the company of her family and friends. Watching hummingbirds nearby at the feeders she had put up was one of her favorite things to do. During football season she enjoyed watching Alabama Football with family and friends yelling Roll Tide or on hot summer days you could find her at the creek.
Michele was survived by her Father Jack Mock of Kinston AL. Sons Steven ( Maggie ) Hamilton of Lockhart Al, Tyler Dukes of Lockhart Al. Daughter Harley Martin of Opp Al. Grandchildren Heidi and Hunter Hamilton, Colton Dukes, Brothers, Carlton (Vanessa) Dukes of Florala Al, Jessie Weaver of Florala Al. Sisters Nicole (Charles) Crockett of Florala Al, Catherine (Casey) Mitchell of Brantley Al. Aunts, Elaine Best of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Glenda Ward of Florala, Nephews Christopher (Emily) Jackson of Florala Al, Bryson Carter of Mobile Al. Nieces Hilary (Austin) McNeill of Mobile Al, Shay Rogers of Florala Al. An abundance of great nephews and nieces she dearly loved. Also survived by her best friend Betty Gail.
Michele was preceded in death by her Mother Glynis Smith Crawford, Her Grandparents, and Granddaughter Chloe Dukes.

A celebration of Life service for Michele Martin will be 2PM Friday June 3, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Harold Qualls officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
