Michael Mitchell age 49, passed away September 27, 2021. He was born February 9, 1972 the son of Michael Dale mitchell and Linda Adams Mitchell. Michael graduated from Paxton High School class of 1990. After graduating he served his country in the U.S. Navy.  Michael then worked in the restaurant industry as a manager and owner. He was an active member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Andalusia. His faith in Jesus Christ sustained him as he fought many health issues, He fought the good fight. He kept the faith. He finished the race. He was preceded in death by father, Michael Dale Mitchell; mother, Linda Adams Mitchell; paternal grandparents,  Doye and Mabel Mitchell; maternal grandparents, Chester and Wynell Adams; his beloved dog, Shelby.

He is survived by brother, Jason Mitchell and wife Wynette, nieces, Payton and Tyler Mitchell and nephew, Chandler Mitchell.

Services for Michael Mitchell will be 3PM Friday October 1, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Military honors and Diane Everette officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
