Michael Grant age 66, of Florala passed away May 14, 2025. He was born August 14, 1958 in Montgomery the son of Curtis Grant and Luna Henderson Grant. Michael was a 1976 graduate of Opp High School. He worked as a sportswriter for the Opp News during high school and following graduation. In 1995 he moved to Jacksonville, Florida and worked at Allied Transportation as a logistics manager. In 2005 he worked as an apprentice and crew leader at British Masonry until he relocated in Florala. He was an avid gardener growing hybrid roses and enjoyed refinishing furniture. His family celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.  He was preceded in death by father, Curtis Grant Sr; mother Luna Smith Grant; brothers, Vincent and Curtis Grant Jr.

He is survived by sister, Dedra Williams and brother, Alex Grant.

Services for Michael Grant will be 11AM Saturday May 24, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home with Darell Fink officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Five Run Cemetery.
