Melissa Weeks Davis, age 59, passed away September 4, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born November 21, 1964, in Florala, AL the daughter of Lloyd and Janie Weeks. Melissa was a Paxton High School graduate of 1982. Melissa faithfully served her community as a nurse, starting her healthcare career as a LPN and ending with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Melissa worked for Andalusia Regional Hospital for many years before serving as Chief Clinical Officer for 15 years. She then went to work for Apollo MD as a hospitalist for North Okaloosa Medical Center. She ended her career working for the late Dr. David McCalman's as his Nurse Practitioner. She loved all of her patients dearly.

Outside of healthcare, Melissa enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach, shopping, horseback riding and baking. Her greatest joy and passion in life was being a Mimi to Brayden, Colton, Claire, Allie, and Ashlyn.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Weeks; her mother-in-law, Nell Davis; and her father-in-law, Edward Davis.

She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Davis of 40 years; daughter, Chelsea Burlison (Timmy); son, Brandon Davis (Crystal); grand-children Colton and Claire Davis, Brayden and Allie Hutcheson, Ashlyn Burlison. Her mother Janie Weeks, brothers Keith and Josh Weeks, Sister Merrie Weeks, and many other family and friends.

Funeral services for Melissa Weeks Davis will be 2pm Sunday September 8, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home with Bill Pritchett officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Paxton Cemetery.
