Melissa Ann Cross of Foley, Alabama, passed away on April 9, 2024. She was born on May 13, 1981, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Missy is survived by her devoted husband, Brandon Cross, daughter, McKenna Cross, and parents Marshel and Mary Ann Smith, sister Mindy (Justin) Cooper, along with nieces, nephews, and an abundance of extended loved ones. Special appreciation to the parents of Brandon, James and Camille Cross, and sister, Melanie for accepting Missy as one of their own.

Missy graduated from Paxton High School and continued her education at Pensacola Junior College. She pursued a fulfilling career as an MRI Technologist, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and dedication.

Outside of her work, Missy found joy in gardening, practicing yoga, and volunteering with local animal charities. Her kind and giving nature were shone through her hobbies and charitable endeavors.

A celebration of life service to honor Missy will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home in Florala, Alabama. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
