Evelyn Morris age 91, passed from this life to her eternal home on January 3, 2023. She was born October 8, 1931, in Florala to Christopher Council Weeks and Viola Green Weeks.

Evelyn loved to cook, feed ducks, look at Christmas lights, read and do crossword puzzles. Known to everyone as Evelyn, Mama and Granny. She will be missed by love ones. Her legacy is the mark she left on her family and the fact that she is at peace in the Lord Jesus now.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Morris, 3 sons, Bobby Wayne Morris, James Michael Morris and Teddy Wayne Morris, great-granddaughter, Alena Rochele Johnson, 2 brothers, Harold Weeks and James Lee Weeks and a sister, Geraldine Smith.

She is survived by daughters, Carolyn (James) Fears and Sandra Arnold, grandchildren, Donna (Allen) Teele, Christie (Howell) Johnson, Dion (Alicia) Arnold, Bobby (Tisha) Richardson, Vicky Peterson, Sharry (Michael) Nix, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren, and sister, Gail (Benjie) Wright.

Funeral services for Evelyn Morris will be 11AM Saturday January 7, 2023, at Evans Funeral Home with Steve Comer officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Lime Springs Cemetery.
