Mary Bass Kelly age 85, of Florala passed away September 12, 2024. She was born November 1, 1938 in Florala the daughter of Harvy Oscar Bass Sr and Hattie Bolling Bass. Mary was an incredible wife, mom, Gammy and teacher for her entire family. She will be dearly missed by all those she touched; she was a hopeful and positive presence in her church, always offering love, helping anyone in need and praying at any time. Mary was preceded in death by husband, Howard Kelly; father, Harvy Oscar Bass Sr; mother, Hattie Bolling Bass; brothers, H.O. Bass Jr, James Bass, Gene Bass and Grady Bass; sisters, Joy Paul and Ann Bass.

She is survived by daughter, Liz Cook (Steve), sons, Thomas Kelly (Rita) and Kevin Kelly, grandchildren, Jason Cook, Jamie Cook (Barbara), Brittany Kelly, Ryan Kelly (Emily), Gretchen Partridge (Andy) and Sophie Kelly. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mary Bass Kelly will be 3PM Sunday September 15, 2024 at the First Assembly of God Church in Florala with Thomas Kelly and Ray Bundy officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
