Mary Elizabeth Hudson age 73, passed away January 21, 2021. She was born December 24, 1947, in Fayette County, Alabama, to James F. Porter and Mary F. Jenkins Porter. Mary was a retired professional dog groomer; she enjoyed her job immensely. Since her retirement, she delighted in working with her flowers, yardwork, watching Hallmark movies, and cooking Phil's favorite meals. She was preceded in death by both parents.

Mary is survived by her husband, Phil Hudson, two sons, Michael Banks (Chris), of Centreville, AL, and Lynn Banks, of DeFuniak Springs, FL. Mary has six grandchildren (3 girls and 3 boys). She also is survived by two siblings, Bernice Hollhand of Tuscaloosa, AL, and J.F. Porter (Gale), of Bankston, AL.

A time of visitation and celebration of life will be on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5-7 in the evening at Evans Funeral Home, Florala, AL.
