Mary Evelyn Howard, 84 of the Red Oak Community in Florala, Al passed away Friday, April 11, 2024 in Sacred Heart hospital surrounded by her family. She was born July 12, 1939 to Julius and Vera Gable. She married her longtime love Jessie W. Howard, November 26, 1968 who preceded her in death June 25, 2023.

Mary's life was a living example of her favorite bible verse Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind and compassionate to one another just as God forgave you in Christ."

Mary is survived by her two children Tina Howard McDonnell (Tudy) and Tony William Howard and one sister June McDivitt. 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great - great grandchild.

Mary was predeceased in death by 1 daughter Lisa Diane Brown, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, her mother Vera Gable and father Julius Gable.

Services for Mary Evelyn Howard will be 3PM Sunday April 14, 2024, at Evans Funeral Home with Adam Cobb and Josh Kyser officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
