Mark Butters, age 39, passed away September 19, 2026. He was born August 15, 1987, in Andalusia, Alabama, the son of Dewayne Butters and JoAnn Hughes Butters.

Mark faced many challenges throughout his life, yet he remained kindhearted and quick to share a smile. His gentle spirit and warmth touched those around him, and even during difficult times, he had a way of making others feel welcome. His life reminds us of the importance of compassion, the comfort of kindness, and the lasting difference a simple smile can make. Mark will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life service for Mark will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rawls Baptist Church, with his brother, Michael Butters, officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
