Madysun (Maddy) Teal, 17, of Florala won her battle against cancer on June 20, 2022. Durning her 1 year fight she never wavered in her love and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her steadfast reliance on God's strength and compassion allowed her to persevere through very trying times, all while inspiring others to seek the same refuge she had found in Christ. Maddy will be dearly missed by all those she touched; she was a hopeful and positive presence in her community.

She is survived by mother, Lacresha Ingram, sisters, Shaylea Ingram and Emma Ingram, grandmother and grandfather, Margie (Nana) Harrison and James (Paw Paw) Harrison, great grandmother, Kathleen (Kat) Harrison. Maddy is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Funeral services for Maddy Teal will be 10 AM Tuesday June 28, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Ronnie and Ann Sexton officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM. Interment will be in New Harmony Cemetery. Maddy requested that all who choose to attend her service wear bright colored clothing. Maddy's family would also like to offer their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who offered their prayers and support during her illness; the comfort she drew from those prayers helped sustain her on many occasions.
