Louis (Jack) Gillman age 82, passed away June 9, 2024. He was born March 21, 1942, the son of Arthur Gillman and Versie Bell Paul Gillman. Jack worked as a trucker in the transportation industry for many years. He was an avid fisherman and spent hundreds of hours in the lakes and ponds of south Alabama and northwest Florida catching largemouth bass, crappie and shellcrackers. Jack will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by wife, Mae Gillman, father, Arthur Gillman; mother, Versie Bell Paul Gillman; son-in-law, Danny Parmer; grandson, Joshua Lee Prevatt; brothers, Ken and Ronnie Gillman; sisters, Dorthy Luree Boyer and Mary Nell Caviler.

He is survived by sons, Tommy Edward Gillman and John Hudson, daughters, Joyce Clark (Ricky), Nancy Parmer and Wendy Gautney (William), brother, Marvin Gillman (Sarah). He is also survived by numerous grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jack Gillman will be 2PM Monday June 17, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home with Marvin Gillman officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be at Paxton Cemetery.
