Lorine Hughes Manning age 84, of Paxton passed away Monday July 11, 2022. She was born July 31, 1937 in DeFuniak Springs the daughter of William Hughes and Ola Blackman Hughes. Lorine enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafting. She was a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star in Paxton. Lorine was a member of Paxton Baptist Church. Her biggest legacy, however was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Lorine, Moma and Maw Maw she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Manning, parents, William Hughes and Ola Blackman Hughes, brothers, Alcus Hughes, Lowell Hughes and Cecil Hughes, sisters, Edna Cauley and Sylvia Durden.

She is survived by daughters, Sandra Mathews and husband Roy and Mary Ann Labit and Oscar Hamilton, brother, Bobby Hughes and wife Marilyn, grandchildren, Heather Gainey (Henry), Amanda Bradford (Ben), Dusti Coacher (Ryan), Holly Johnson (Kristopher) Zachary Labit and fiancé Jessica. great-grandkids, Isabella, Jasmine, Bowe, Mackenzie, Braylin, Grant, Fisher, Kowen, Blaze, and Alec.

Funeral services for Lorine Hughes Manning will be 11AM Friday July 15, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Dewayne Geohagen and John Love Lady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Paxton cemetery.
