Lavaughn Presley, age 82, of Laurel Hill passed away Friday  May 28, 2021. He was born March 1, 1939 in Walton County the son of Hubert Presley and Geanie Harrison Presley. Lavaughn worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. He was an avid fisherman and loved gardening.  Lavaughn was an exceptional cook and prepared meals for his family especially during the holidays. His biggest legacy, however was the immeasurable mark he left on his family. Known to them as Von, Dad, "Paw Paw" and Uncle Von. He will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. He was preceded in death by father, Hubert Presley; mother, Geanie Harrison Presley; granddaughter, Amanda Teachey; brothers, Theron Presley and Herbert Presley; sisters, Mary Clary, Anice Coone and Mary Covington.

He is survived by wife, Margaret Ann Presley, son, Greg Presley and wife Angie, grandson, Dakota Presley, sisters, Edith Clary and Jan Pollard, brother, Willard Presley and wife Shirley. He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Lavaughn Presley will be 11AM Tuesday June 1, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Jack Day officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
