Kathryn D. Corbitt, age 98, of Red Oak, Alabama passed away Saturday night, Dec. 4th at Andalusia Manor. Ms. Corbitt was born April 14, 1923 to Jessie and Adah Wilson Dobbins. She was preceded in death by husband, James Emmett Corbitt, son, Gary D. Corbitt and sister, Sue Hausman.

She is survived by son, David (Charlotte) of Red Oak, grandson, Travis (April) Durkee, granddaughter, Rachel Merrill, great granddaughters, Alivia Laird, Lexi and Ava Durkee, Shelby Merrill, sister, Janet (Willie) Williams, nephews, Randy Williams and Bob and Brian Hausman.

Ms. Corbitt was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and spent many years as a Sunday school teacher.

Funeral services for Kathryn Corbitt will be 11AM Thursday December 9, 2021 at Red Oak Baptist Church with Eugene Meadows officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7PM at Evans Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
