Karl D Kaup age 75 of Paxton passed away October 18, 2023. He was born May 28, 1947 in Portland, Oregon the son of Donald K Kaup and Marie Cardinale Kaup. Karl proudly severed his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at A&P grocery where he met his wife, Frankie Reeves. He later worked for Shell Oil and Disney and after 50 years of work Frankie and Karl retied and lived in Paxton. Karl was an avid fisherman spending countless hours in the lakes and ponds of our area. He raised and enjoyed tropical parrots. He is dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He was preceded in death by father, Donald K Kaup; mother, Marie Cardinale.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Kaup, daughters, Theresa Shuster and husband David and Mary Kaup, brother, Stephen Kaup and wife Sharon, sister, Janet Johnson and husband David. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Kaleb Shuster, Connor Shuster and Reese Shuster. He loved being their "Grand Pa".

Funeral services for Karl D Kaup will be 2PM Sunday October 22, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with David Ammons officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 4-6PM. Interment will be in Gum Creek Cemetery.
