Joyce Gill Grant, a lifelong resident of Walton County Florida, passed away Sunday morning, May 2nd at Florala Health and Rehab, Florala, AL. She was born on November 10, 1928, to Louie and Agnes Gill.

Joyce sold insurance in her early years of employment and later sold cosmetics for Luzier. She loved singing gospel songs and playing the piano at her church, Liberty Assembly of God. Even while in the nursing home, she would sing for the staff and residents.

She is survived by a daughter, Hilda Joyce Adams (Jimmy) of Northport, Alabama, and one son, Phil Hudson of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Survivors also include three grandsons: Jamey Adams (Rachel) Hahira, GA; Jeremy Adams (Meredith) Prattville, AL; and Joshua Adams (Natalie) Northport, AL. Seven great grandchildren are also blessings from the Lord: Sullivan, Anna Kate, Maddie, Wade, Benjamin, and Abigail.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 4th, at Evans Funeral Home, Florala, AL. A service to celebrate her life will begin at 2:00 with James Pickron and Danny Glidewell officiating. Burial will incur at Caney Creek Cemetery.
