Jo Jo Brown, age 62, passed away Friday June 25, 2021. He was born April 24, 1959 in Florala the son of Richard and Ethel Brown. Jo Jo lived life to the fullest whether it was sitting around the fire listening to southern rock, telling Jo Jo stories are spending time with family. Jo Jo's life epitomized YOLO ("You only Live Once") and he loved every second of it. He was known for always preferring hugs over handshakes. He didn't meet strangers he met new best friends. His laugh was infectious and his smile would light up a room. He was an enemy to no one and a friend/brother to everyone. Jo Jo will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Richard Brown; mother, Ethel Brown; brother, John Robert (Bimbo) Brown.

Jo Jo is survived by sister, LaRoy Bass, brother, Ronnie Brown and wife Stacy, sister, Lynn Usry and husband Mark and sister, Wendy Brown, significant other Debra Jean (Baby) Hall. He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Jo Jo Brown will be 11AM Saturday August 28, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Dewayne Brooks officiating.  A time of visitation will be 1 hour before services.
