Jimmy Patterson Taylor passed away November 17, 2020. He was born October 2, 1967 in Pensacola to Walter Junior Taylor and Shirley Cannon Taylor. Jimmy worked in the construction industry for many years until ill health forced his retirement. He was a avid fisherman spending countless hours in the lakes, ponds and rivers of south Alabama and northwest Florida catching catfish and large mouth bass. Jimmy had a wonderful sense of humor and loved teasing and playing pranks on his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his love ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Walter Junior Taylor; mother, Shirley Cannon Taylor; sister, Libby Potts.

He is survived by wife, Patricia Taylor, sons, Jimmy Patterson Taylor Jr, Wayne Taylor and wife Michelle, and Robert Smith Taylor, daughters, Sara Taylor, Samantha Taylor and wife Kathryn Paay and Amber Kay Balgoue, brothers, Walter R Taylor and wife Connie and Mikel Taylor and wife Alex,  Christopher Taylor and wife Debbie, sister, Alissia Taylor and husband Ricky, grandchildren, Ervin Wayne Taylor Jr, Bentley Munro, Gabriella Taylor and Elizabeth Sophia Blagoue. He loved being their "PaPa". He is also survived by mother and father-in-law, Sara Pauline Miller and Morgan Wayne Miller and sister and brother in-law, Elizabeth Perkins and Doug Perkins.

Memorial services for Jimmy Patterson Taylor will be 11AM Wednesday November 25, 2020 at Evans Funeral Home with his brother, Christopher Taylor officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
