Jimmie Keen, age 80, passed away Friday September 16, 2022. He was born August 29, 1942 the son of Ballard Keen and Nellie Horn Keen. Jimmie enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1962 and proudly served his country for 27 years. Durning that time he diligently worked his way through the Air Force ranks to Chief Master Sergeant. Jimmie spent his last years working in NORAD, as active duty and retired. Then went to KAMAN Science and retired there after 8 years. In his spare time Jimmie enjoyed fishing, nature and traveling. He was preceded in death by father, Ballard Keen; mother, Nellie Horn Keen; brothers, Noah Keen and Larry Keen; sister, Joyce Fuller.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucie Keen, daughters, Sherie Moak and husband James and their son, Cody Moak and grandsons, Keaton Moak and Raiden Moak, Miranda Cole and husband James.

Funeral services for Jimmie Keen will be 10AM Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment with military honors will be at North Creek Cemetery.
