Jesika Carnley Watson, age, 31, of Florala, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly April 27, 2023. She was born July 30, 1991, in Andalusia, Alabama. She was the daughter of Gene Murrey Carnley and Rachel Aplin Cook. Jesika enjoyed fishing and taking care of her many animals.  Jesika was known for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, and her honesty. Her ability to make the best of any situation was a gift. She never knew a stranger and was the foundation of her family. Her hobbies included shopping, taking pictures, and spending time with loved ones. She also enjoyed fishing and trips to the beach.

Jesika was an avid animal lover who always accepted any animal in need. Her passion for animals was known by all and contributed to her nurturing nature. She lived life to the fullest and never took a moment for granted. Jesika was a devoted mother and wife. Her biggest legacy however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Her greatest joy was being a mother.

Jesika will be dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by daughter, Zaylee Carnley; father, Paul Cook; maternal grandmother, Mildred Aplin; brother, Jonathan Carnley; niece, Molly Sheffield.

She is survived by husband, Cory Watson, daughters, Journee Katauskas and Skye Carnley, mother, Rachel Cook, father, Gene Murry Carnley, brothers, Zac Carnley and wife Tonya, Jeffery Carnley and Paul Ashley Cook, sisters, Tonya Carnley and Tosha Smith, nieces and nephews, Mason Carnley, Brook and Brody Keith, MJ and Jacob Smith, Brianna Carnley, Rylence and Raylee Watson.

Funeral services for Jesika Carnley Watson will be 11AM Monday May 1, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Eight Mile Cemetery.
