Jeanette Carol Sandiford, age 87, peacefully joined her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 13, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 7, 1937, in Ocilla, Georgia, the daughter of Manassa Huburt Henderson and Verlie Etheridge Henderson. She supported her husband of 64 years, Herman Laurie Sandiford, throughout his military career with moves to several duty stations and was an amazing mother to her four sons and daughters-in-law.  She was kind, and a joy to be around, and she found joy in serving her Savior by actively participating in and serving in her church, including as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She loved to cook, and one never left her home hungry or without an offered snack or dish to take home. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by son, Herman Laurie Sandiford, Jr., and great granddaughter, Hannah Elisabeth Sandiford. She is survived by sons, Thomas (Melanie) Sandiford, Jerry (Catherine) Sandiford, and Timothy Sandiford; grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Sandiford, Jeremiah (Tabitha) Sandiford, Joshua (Joanna) Sandiford, Rebekah Sandiford, Michael (Alyssa) Sandiford, Chelle Sandiford, Aden Sandiford, Emily Sandiford, and eight great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Paxton Baptist Church with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Graveside service to follow at Paxton Cemetery.
