J.B. Clary age 87 of Florala passed away Saturday May 13, 2023. He was born October 13, 1935 the son of John C Clary and Jimmie Waltermire.

J.B. was a veteran of the U.S. Army. J.B. was an incredible husband, father and teacher for his entire family. His laugh was infectious and his smile would light up a room. He was an enemy to no one and a friend/brother to everyone. Although constantly busy as a barber and business owner while being involved in the First United Methodist Church in Florala and community, nothing was more important than spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and this community who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, John C Clary; mother, Jimmie Waltermire.

He is survived by wife, Mamie Cox Clary, son, Scott Clary and his beloved dog, Jackson. He is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for J.B. Clary will be 11AM Tuesday May 16, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Kevin Holland officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in J.B.'s memory can be made to Cancer Freeze, P.O.
