Janie Huckabaa age 74 of Paxton passed away Tuesday April 18, 2023. She was born April 15, 1949 in DeFuniak Springs the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Adams and Gladys Harrison Adams. Janie loved Alabama Football, watching soap operas, going to the Paxton Senior Center and shopping. She was a member of Paxton Baptist Church. Her greatest legacy however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Janie, Mom and MiMi she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by daughter, Kelli Hattaway; father, Woodrow Wilson Adams; mother, Gladys Harrison Adams; brother, Connie Adams; stepfather, Jesse (Buddy) Gillman; brother-in-law, Douglas Howell.

She is survived by husband, Wain O Huckabaa, son, Jamey Wilson Hattaway, sister, Beverly Howell Clifton and husband Jim.

Funeral services for Janie Huckabaa will be 2PM Sunday April 23, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
