Ina Zorn Griffith, a life-long resident of Gaskin, FL, passed away on August 29, 2023, in her home surrounded by family.

Ina was born July 23, 1932 to Jess and Ronie Zorn at Finks Mill Community. At 19, Ina married the love of her life, John Dwight Griffith, on April 19, 1952. Ina and he built a life together on their family farm in Gaskin, where they raised their four daughters. She held many occupations, including a gifted seamstress, a floor supervisor with Franklin Ferguson and a food service worker with Paxton High School, where she retired after 10 years. John and Ina were honored as Farm Family of the Year in 1971. Ina was Methodist by faith and was an active member of the Florala United Methodist Church.

Ina was admired and deeply loved by her children and grandchildren and by her many friends and church family. Ina was known for her sweet spirit and love for all, especially her grandbabies.

Ina was preceded in death by her husband, John Dwight Griffith, her parents, Jess and Ronie Zorn, sister Chasie Walker and brother Jack Zorn (Frances).

Ina is survived by her four daughters, Donna Laird, Patsy Griffith, Cindy Barrineau, Harriet Simmons (Buddy); sister, Betty Brown; five grandchildren; Mandy Callahan (Rickey), Buffi Bailey (Bill), Josh Simmons (Heather), Sommer Wyatt (Jason), Andrew Barrineau, ten great grandchildren; Kialea Madden (John), Kara Cook (Colby), Tinley Bailey, Payton Wyatt, Garrin Wyatt, Reagan Simmons, Griffith Bailey, Kenzleigh Wyatt, Amelia Simmons, Lucas Simmons, two great great grandchildren; Kathryn and Charlie Madden and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers, Josh Simmons, grandson, Andrew Barrineau, grandson, Griffith Bailey, grandson, Payton Wyatt, grandson, Garrin Wyatt, grandson and Paul Brown, nephew.

Funeral services for Ina Zorn Griffith will be 3PM Friday September 1, 2023 at the Florala Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin Holland officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at Evans Funeral Home in Florala from 6-8 PM. Interment will be in Gaskin Cemetery. Flowers or memorials in Ina's memory may be made to the Florala Methodist Church, P.O.
