Imogene Martin, age 86, of Florala, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025.

She was born August 5, 1939, to John Martin and Voncille Carnley Martin. Imogene lived a life marked by quiet strength, diligence, and unwavering faith.

Imogene dedicated 32 years of faithful service in civil service, where she was known as a hard-working and dependable employee. She took pride in her work, enjoyed the fellowship of her co-workers, and carried herself with integrity and dedication in all that she did.

Outside of her career, Imogene found joy in the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She loved cooking and baking, especially during the holidays, when her kitchen became a place of warmth, generosity, and family gathering. She enjoyed traveling, caring for her beloved cats, and, above all, spending time with her family, who meant everything to her.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the anchor of her life. She did not merely read Scripture—she lived it. Through every season, her trust in the Lord sustained her and shaped her character, her kindness, and her love for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Martin and Voncille Carnley Martin.

She is survived by her son, Keith Martin (Gwen); grandchildren, Jarred Martin (Sarah), Jaylyn Martin, and William Martin; along with other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
