Glenda Faye Fountain, age 65, of Florala passed away Tuesday July 27, 2021. She was born December 22, 1955 in Polk County, Florida the daughter of Glen Spicer and Frances Batson Spicer. Glenda worked in the textile industry in our area until ill health forced her retirement. She enjoyed riding horses and fishing. Glenda faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. Glenda was preceded in death by son, Roger Worrell; daughter, Peggy Worrell; father, Glen Spicer; mother, Frances Batson Spicer; sisters, Leavon Reese and Linda Nance; brothers, Tommy Crawford and Ronnie Spicer.

She is survived by daughter, Christy Fountain. She is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Glenda Faye Fountain will be 2PM Monday August 2, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Wendall Ard officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
