Steve is to be honored not only for his active-duty service, but also for a lifetime of commitment and sacrifice that continued long after his retirement.
Beyond his service, Steve was known for his strong character, genuine kindness, and quiet humility. He carried himself with grace and respect for others, never seeking recognition, yet deserving of it in every way. His warm sense of humor brought joy to family and friends alike, and his presence was a steady, reassuring force to those who knew him.
