Gary Reese Sr age 65, of Florala passed away April 6, 2023. He was born in Florala on July 14, 1957 the son of William Reese and Christine Cassady Reese. Gary worked in the textile industry in our area for many years, He loved Alabama Football and fishing. Nothing was more important to Gary as family. He will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. He was preceded in death by wife, Leavon Reese; father, William Reese; mother, Christine Cassady Reese.

He is survived by son, Gary Reese Jr, daughters, Amanda Owenby, Brandy Reese (Tay) and Sandy Reese (Justin), grandchildren, Ashley, Haleigh, Morgan, Arian, Barritton and Olivia.

Funeral services for Gary Reese Sr, will be 2PM Wednesday April 12, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Rex Cassady and Danny Thames officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Paxton Cemetery.
